Education is the foundation of a successful future, and it is essential that children are given the opportunity to receive a quality education.
Parents should remember that the early years of education and parental involvement are essential. These are the years when the child’s mind develops and this makes him intelligent. Children who are not given special attention can have weak minds.
As an educator and administrator, I would strongly advise parents to teach their children the alphabet, numbers, colours, animal names, etc. at home before sending them to school, so that they will be confident when they get there. Teachers and fellows will compliment them. This process will serve as the basis for the child’s literacy.

When a child enters secondary (high) classes, teachers do not and cannot focus on basic skills. On the other hand, due to the lack of fundamental skills, the child does not understand anything in these courses and ends up because he is tired of studying.
My son was very active. My mother often told me that he, unlike me, is very naughty. I used to tell my mom that his brain was just starting to form. His mind will not develop and he will not be a smart child if he is controlled by beatings or intimidation. When he is busy with his studies, he will forget everything and devote all his energy to it.
Parents often tell their children that they are naughty. Such an attitude does not exist. It is the child’s energy that has not been positively directed by parents or teachers and is wasted.

I have seen in secondary classes that there are many children who cannot read or write even though they have reached this stage. These are the classes where children are able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. If children are brought up in the right way and know exactly where they are going, these children can become their own business owners. If the child in this position cannot read or write, it is a great pain for the parents. I found in my research that these are children whose parents were not involved in their early education. The children were slowly getting lost and the parents didn’t even know it.
Therefore, the parents must be involved in their children's education and upbringing. The following questions may help parents with positive parenting and education.
- In which school and class is your child studying?
- How many children are there in total in his class and what is his position among them?
- Have you seen the classroom and is it suitable for the learning environment of a child of this age?
- A child’s teacher is not negative-minded? He does not spread hatred anywhere?
- Have you discussed your child’s weaknesses with the teacher?
- What procedures have you put in place to overcome these weaknesses?
