When it comes to dealing with disobedience in children, it is important to understand the root causes of this behavior. Children can be disobedient for a number of reasons, including lack of understanding, need for attention, lack of boundaries, lack of communication, unfulfilled desires, being victimized by a bad group, etc. This is often the case with children growing up because they do not have a strong attachment to their parents and because the parents did not raise them with special discipline from the beginning. Before dealing with disobedience, it is important to understand the root of the problem.

The following reasons can be for disobedience:

  • Lack of discipline at home,
  • Lack of strong bond between parents and children, inappropriate response from parents,
  • Teachers, or adults,
  • Boredom of the child,
  • Lack of consistency among parents, teachers, or elders,
  • Having unrealistic expectations of the child,
  • Putting the child under excessive stress, and not meeting the child’s needs.

It is important to set clear rules and expectations at home that are age-appropriate and consistently enforced. Dealing with disobedience in children can be a difficult task, but it can be done by understanding the root causes of the behavior, establishing clear rules and expectations, and providing positive reinforcement for following them.

A weak relationship with children is the foremost cause of their deterioration. When a child has less of a relationship with a parent, they form relationships outside of the family. Sharing joys and pains is the first step towards raising children properly. Therefore, it is important to maintain contact with children in all situations and guide them accordingly. In this way, children will share their pains and joys with you instead of with outsiders, and you will be able to monitor them more effectively.
